We’re thrilled to share that our organization was recently featured on Great Day Live with 10 Tampa Bay News! This exciting spotlight gave us the chance to promote the incredible work we’re doing through the H.U.G. Reading Program—and how we’re making a real difference for students across the United States.

Our Director of Florida Schools, Danielle Blaxton, joined the broadcast to speak about the powerful impact of H.U.G. and how our virtual reading initiative is helping young learners build confidence, close learning gaps, and fall in love with reading.

📚 A Closer Look at the H.U.G. Reading Program

The H.U.G. Reading Program is a virtual, one-on-one tutoring initiative designed specifically for students in grades 2 through 4. We provide targeted reading support outside the classroom, helping bridge the gap for children who need a little extra help to succeed. With a focus on individualized attention, each student is paired with a trained tutor for personalized sessions that meet them at their unique reading level.

🎧 We Bring the Resources

We understand that access is key. That’s why we provide all the necessary resources—including iPads, headphones, and connectivity tools—and deliver them directly to our partnered schools. This way, schools and families don’t have to worry about equipment or tech barriers getting in the way of progress.

We’re proud to have formed strong partnerships with industry leaders like Apple and AT&T, which help us ensure a seamless and reliable virtual learning experience for every student we serve.

🌟 Reaching Students Across the United States

With our program running in schools through 3 states and counting, the H.U.G. Reading Program is becoming a vital part of national literacy efforts. We're proud to work alongside educators, families, and community partners to ensure every child has the opportunity to become a strong, capable reader.
